Colours of Ostrava keeps building its 2027 lineup, and the next name confirmed is The Lottery Winners.
Fifteen years before the breakthrough
The British indie rock band spent fifteen years playing clubs before finally getting their breakthrough. In 2023 they scored their first UK number one album with “Anxiety Replacement Therapy”, followed in 2025 by a second chart-topper, “KOKO”.
Music as therapy
Frontman Thom Rylance often writes about personal topics like anxiety, ADHD and self-discovery. For him, songwriting is a way of processing emotions, and the album title KOKO – Keep On Keeping On – reflects the idea of pushing forward even when things don’t go to plan.
Thom Rylance is also a close friend of Robbie Williams, who is already confirmed for Colours 2027 – a nice bit of symmetry now that they’ll share the same festival.
