CITRON confirmed for Masters of Rock 2027 – celebrating 50 years with a special show

Czech hard rock legends CITRON are coming to Masters of Rock 2027 with a brand new special show, celebrating their 50th anniversary and 40 years since their cult album "Radegast".

Czech hard rock and heavy metal legends CITRON have been confirmed for Masters of Rock 2027. The festival takes place 8–11 July 2027 in Vizovice, Czech Republic, and for CITRON it marks a huge anniversary celebration on home soil.

50 years on stage

CITRON are celebrating an incredible 50 years as a band, and it’s also been 40 years since they released their cult album “Radegast” (1987) – one of the most important records in Czech metal history. The album sold over a million copies and earned the band the “Group of the Year” award the following year. As is tradition for the band at big occasions, they’re preparing a completely new, special show for Masters of Rock.

Several members who took part in the classic album, including Vašek Vlasák and Jarda Bartoň, will join as guests for the anniversary concert. Singer TANJA, who joined the band around the time “Radegast” was recorded, remains a key part of CITRON to this day. The band is now led by Radim Pařízek ml. with Jirka Rain on vocals.

This is an anniversary CITRON fans won’t want to miss, and it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest domestic names on the Masters of Rock 2027 bill.
