Zappanale is the world’s only Frank Zappa festival, held since 1990 in Bad Doberan by the Baltic Sea in Germany. Over four days, around 20 bands perform rock, jazz, classical and avant-garde music inspired by Frank Zappa’s multifaceted musical legacy. The festival is known for celebrating Zappa’s innovative compositions and for bringing together fans from all over the world.
