Astropolis is France's oldest electronic music festival, founded in 1995 in Brest. The festival focuses on electronic music such as techno, drum and bass, house and bass music, and is known for its independent ethos, do-it-yourself philosophy and its legendary venue Manoir de Keroual. For four days in July, Brest is taken over by clubs, open-airs and festival events celebrating electronic music and countercultural community.
