YOB are an American doom metal band from Eugene, Oregon, formed in 1996 by vocalist and guitarist Mike Scheidt. The band is considered one of the most prominent acts in the doom metal scene, with a sound that merges stoner rock and sludge metal. YOB have released several studio albums since their debut in the early 2000s.
