Placebo

Placebo was formed in London in 1994 by singer and guitarist Brian Molko and bassist Stefan Olsdal. With a dark, androgynous, glam-tinged take on alternative rock, they broke through with songs like Nancy Boy, Pure Morning and Every You Every Me, and became one of the most distinctive bands of the 90s.

The band has released eight studio albums, from the debut Placebo (1996) and Without You I’m Nothing (1998) through Meds (2006) to Never Let Me Go (2022). Since 2015, Molko and Olsdal have been a duo at the core, joined by live musicians on tour.
